I have all my pictures since year 2001 (about 29000 pics) imported in one LR-catalog. Now it seems that LR has become a little slower than before. expecially
in startup. Is there any limit how many pics or how big the catalog can be?
My system is Windows XP, 2Gb memory, one iternal 500GB hard drive and
two external 500Gb USB hard drives. LR catalog is on internal, an pics on the
external hard drives. Should I divide my catalog in two or more smaller?
Can you tell?
PS. Almost all my pics are RAW (Canon CRW2 converted to DNG)
