I both enjoyed and leaned from 'Camera to Print'. It confirmed some things I was doing and gave me more to chew on such as soft proofing. I'm surprised. however, that a very helpful printing program, Qimage Pro, wasn't mentioned.
I've alway been amazed that Photoshop's print module is so primitive for a $650 professional graphic arts program. Long ago I started using Qimage Pro for printing. Besides soft proofing it gives almost total freedom for sizing and placement for multiple prints. It also dispenses with Adobe's fixation on down or up sampling by using the native resolution of the file when resizing and it provides many more sophisticated interpolation schemes for up sizing. The program is constantly being updated by Mike Chaney and its cost is very modest. I have no connection with the program or its developer. I just like the program for printing.
