LLVJ 16 Audio Syncronization
« on: June 12, 2007, 10:54:44 am »

After converting the California segment of LLVJ 16 to DVD using AoA DVD Creator, I noticed that voice and video got slightly out of sync towards the end of the segment.

To convert the download, I used all the defaults of AoA DVD Creator -- it is extremely easy to use.

The odd thing about losing sync is that it was regained after I stopped the DVD player, did a brief rewind and then resumed playing.  (I discovered this entirely by accident.)

I don't recall having a similar problem with the first three segments.  The same software, DVD type and DVD player were used for both conversions.

Has anyone else had this problem?  Any ideas to prevent it?

I am not certain that this is the cause of the problem, but the frame rate for California is different: 24 fps vs. 18fps for the other VJ16 segments

I burned the California segment (only) onto a separate DVD.
