Induro tripods
« on: April 24, 2007, 04:34:00 pm »

reading Michael's article, i now want to get myself an Induro tripod.
i've looked it up both on BH Photovideo and Vistek

however the specs on Vistek is a little confusing because both models are shown with 3 leg stages/4 sections. afaik, the C-413 model is supposed to have 2 stages/3 sections. can someone confirm this?
the reason i chose the C-413 model over the C-414 model is because i don't need the extra maximum height, although the 5" difference in folded length is pretty tempting. another reason is that with 3 leg stages, the C-414 is probably not as strong as the C-413.

in his article, Michael also complained that the top part of the center column can't be removed to allow him to get low. actually Induro does allow this, but you have to buy an Extra Low Column unit (costing about $50-60 each). question is, does anyone know which unit to goes with the C-413? they have 4 different series but i can't find any info anywhere explaining which is which :/
