Powering a Canon 20D for long periods
« on: March 15, 2007, 10:41:49 am »

I need to power a Canon 10/20D camera for up to a couple of weeks (shooting time-lapse jpegs onto a large card) and there will be no mains power availability. Any suggestions as to what possibilities exist to do this? Or do I have to go down a custom route?

It depends on where you have it located and how much space/weight are an issue.

Thanks for the link (and we do have UK dealers!). I need to power a 20D in an underwater housing to shoot time lapse sequences and will have to use a housed battery pack - some of the ones shown look viable if only I can splice appropriate cables into them?
