« on: February 19, 2007, 11:28:52 pm »

i've been using the lens brush with spinner and the Sensor Clean with swabs

i've re-visited the instructions and web site and cannot understand under what conditions to use the Sensor Clean solution vs the VDust Formula

anybody with practical experience of these products?

I have tried their cleaning solutions without any success. Eclipse Fluid, however, has worked everytime FYI.

If by Sensor Clean you mean Smear Away, it's for use when you have grease/oil on the sensor.  Then you have to use VDust to clean the Smear Away off and eliminate streaking.

VDust is for general cleaning excluding grease/oil.

I've found that you need to do multiple cleanings to get grease/oil spots off.
