Windswept (catching the light)
« on: November 07, 2026, 06:14:16 am »

Hi all,

Here's a recent shot of mine, which I took heading towards Rannoch Moor and Glen Coe in Scotland.

It was a very windy day. But luckily for me, I just happened to be driving towards this view and saw a hole in the cloud to my left, moving a patch of light towards these two wind blown trees. And, as I had had my eye on this shot for years, I thought this could be a good opportunity to grab it.

So I parked the car, ran across the road and waited for the light to arrive, which it did. With this being the shot I liked the most.

Regards

Dave

Lovely shot Dave.

Scotland is amazing for the landscapes it offers, even more so for the ever-changing light that often, sooner than later, allows such fine possibilities as yours.
