The prints I've been making with my HP B9180 have been great overall, but when I use 300 gsm Moab Entrada Natural, the prints have lots of very small gold glitter particles all over them. You can't see them when viewing the prints straight on, but are very evident when you look at an angle or the light hits it just right.
I don't quite understand what is going on. When I use 190 GSM Bright White Entrada in the B9180, no problem (I don't have any 300 gsm Bright White to test for apples to apples, unfortunately). Likewise HP's own Smooth Fine Art is fine.
I thought it must have been the Entrada Natural paper itself, but I ran some from the same box of paper through my Epson 4800 and they look perfectly normal through the 4800.
Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon with the B9180 before, with 300 gsm Entrada or any other kind of paper? Even if not, do you have any theories for what is causing it?
