Free Z3200

My Z3200 just died (belt broke). I don't want to fix it but can give it away to anyone who wants it. It's located in Hell's Kitchen Manhattan. But you would have to come and get it. I'm on a fifth floor walkup. So you would need two people to carry in down four flights of stairs and put in in your van.

Kyle, that’s the kind of innovative, reasoned thinking most politicians would do well to study. ;-)

Yes. It was several years out of warranty. I was going to keep it working until something went wrong that I couldn't or didn't want to fix. My Z3100's belt also was what killed it.

it takes a 40 € belt and 3 hours to fix it-- if you know how...
but you need to know how with this printer for it is every 5-7 years the belt snaps. really a design mistake.

has anybody experience with how long the LPS computer belts stay working?

I have changed the belts on the these printers multiple times. It is not hard but does take a little time. I have two HPZ3200s. One has run the LPS belt for about 4 years and the second one for 2 years. I honestly don't know how long they last but so far I am happy with them.

A year ago I was able to replace the power supply/fan assembly, but I don't want to even attempt to replace the belt because it's way more complicated. Time to move on to another printer...
