P20000 head spills ink as it is printing

Wow, I have never seen this before.
I was printing a 36x48 canvas and half way down, it started to leak black ink on the canvas - first from the left side of the image and then 2" strips all over the image as it traveled.    I thought the maintenance tanks are too full but usually the printer has a warning for that.  All I can say is that, I have had to run cleaning cycles often the get the nozzles to be clean recently.
I moved the head to the left side and cleaned as much ink as I could.  It's leaking from the right edge of the head - not from the nozzles.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That sounds to me like a burst damper ('ink selector') which is a known issue with P20000/P10000

The ink selector sits on top of the printhead. It has small pressurised containers that control the ink supply to the printhead. The sidewall of the containers are prone to failure.

If that is the case you need a new damper/ink selector. If you are lucky. When it happened to me the ink spread everywhere, shorting out everything. In the end I had to replace the printhead, damper and ink bay below

Do not do cleans. Try and avoid ink spilling into the ink bay below the parked position of the head, it will short out the electrics there

Get an Epson tech in asap and good luck
