From a recent weekend trip just before the onset of the heat. The village of Birkat Mawz is in the foothills of Jebel Akhdar. It is famous for its scenic surroundings and lush palm trees and banana plantations. Plus the abandoned villages, where slowly some old houses are being recuperated for tourist accommodation. These photos were taken at sunrise; the previous afternoon the sky was overcast with no interesting light. Hence, I decided to return the following day at day break, and I got lucky. For a brief period, sunshine broke in and provided great light.
Photos are taken with my Fujis, with 3 lenses: Sigma 15 f/1.4, Voigtlander 27 f/2 and Voigtlander 50 f/1.2.
Regards.
