Anker now Eufy has come out with the first small business/consumer level UV resin printer. Just about all of the major companies have flatbed resin printers but all are in the $10k to $30K range and up.
The Eufymake is small but comes in around $2300. If you add all the extras in you will spend close to $3,000.
Eufy went Kickstarter trying to raise $5,000,000 and by the time they closed the KS program they had raised $47,000,000 and sold around 25,000 units.
That is pretty darn good if not amazing. The larger of the two print beds is small, 12x16.5 but for that price there is nothing else in it's class. XTool and Longer are close to getting their models to market.
The ink is fairly expensive at $299 for CMYK, gloss and a maintenance flush kit. Individual inks are 100ml and cost $43.00@
If you are layering white and want to do a 4mm texture it blows through the white and gloss. It has the Epson xp610 single head which makes it a slow printer. The bigger printers have from between 2 and 4 heads.
We ordered the laminator kit and rotary attachment plus a couple of sets of ink. The software comes with it and for a startup it is pretty complete.
For stickers no cutter is required. You print using their supplied a film and then laminate with the b film and I can tell you that is really nice.
I am just learning and don't have all the answers but will be trying something new every day. The first thing on the list will be some smaller textured artists reproductions on 11x14 stretched canvas and 3mm dibond.
