P20000 random shut downs?

I'm getting occasional random shutdowns of my P20000 mid-print.
Like someone pulled the plug - complete power outs.

I restart and manage to carry on normally till the next 'event' at some random future date.

Any ideas what light be causing this?
(alas, an older machine no longer under warranty/ service plan)

No experience with this happening to a printer but possible culprits are a flakey outlet (or breaker) which I have had and would shut down a music system but allow me to restart OK.  Or the printer power supply, similar symptoms on a PC and also my NAS (twice).  All of these got progressively worse over time.  To see if it might be the outlet, plug something else in to the same outlet and watch to see if exhibits the same problem.

For my stereo, once I suspected the outlet rather than the system I ran an extension cord to another outlet after verifying it was on a different breaker.  Ran that way for a good long while until I got an electrician to check both and replace the breaker (which was burned).
