I discovered, early on in my calendar days, that using a polariser did wonders for the sky, but turned tanned bodies into brick. At least, that was my experience using Kodachrome 64 and Nikkor lenses in sunshine. Figures: (npi) it’s supposed to cut through reflections such as oil and water ones. Never used that filter with people again.
