I was visiting my mother in Michigan recently and that provided some nice nature photo opportunities that I don't see as much of where I live now.
One is fireflies, which I hear technically exist here in Colorado but I've yet to see any. It seems the rain and then the heat dome heat brought them out. This was from Monday night. I was about to head to bed and saw a light outside and realized they were out. So I stayed up a bit too late and attempted some firefly shots.
I thought this one came out reasonably well.
