Took this shot a few weeks ago on Seilebost Beach, on the Isle of Harris.

We spent a week on the Isle of Harris (Outer Hebrides) and believe it or not, this was the very first shot I took when we arrived and no, I didn't use an ND grad, the clouds really were that dark and menacing. In fact it started to rain heavily soon after taking this shot and then continued to do so without a break, for the next 24 hours.

Took several other shots during the week of course, but none turned out as good as this one.

Every part of the frame is excellent. Foreground, sky, distant mountains…
Bravo!

Excellent. Foreground with low tide makes it more interesting I think.

Dramatic. Looks as if it could do with being rotated just a tad anti-clockwise.

Thanks everyone  ;)

OCD?

I gave it a quick look and laid a horizontal line across it and it looks near enough to me. And yes, I too have some OCD moments every now and then, so you are not alone Jeremy. But yes maybe it could do with a tweak to look "right", but I am going to leave it as it is and resist the temptation to begin twiddling with it.

Cheers guys  :)
