Still printing most of our artists canvas reproductions with our pigment printers but it is starting to change. I have had my Epson 64" solvent s80600 for two years and finally have it dialed in to where the prints are almost indistinguishable from pigment.
The first year or so was a real challenge especially being new to the Onyx Rip. Now with two full years of practice and several custom profiles and hundreds of canvas prints under my belt the hard work is starting to show. We have been printing medium to large batches of 30x40 canvas gallery wraps for a local hospital, wall art projects and they look amazing. So much quicker and easier than pigment. With the onboard dryer and solvent inks that do not require a uv varnish we can wrap within 15 minutes of printing. That eliminates from 1 to 2 days of spraying and drying time. Longevity exceeds 100 years for the solvent prints. The average length of time for commercial work to hang before being replaced is 10 to 15 years. The two headed Epson solvent is three to four times faster than my P8000 and new Canon Pro 4600.
The solvent machine is really top of the line and is starting to take over in our shop.
The Denali shot is on canvas mounted to 3mm dibond. The other canvases with black frames are all wet mounted to 3/16" gator board.
The printer prints a real neutral B&W as well.

That's looking very good Dan!

I take it you're making your own profiles?

Have you tried running the P8000 or 4600 through Onyx?

Thanks Richard. Feels like a full time job sometimes trying to iron out the kinks.I am using the onyx profiles from Lexjet but make my own profiles for my pigment printers. Since almost all my printing is photography images I print them all from Lightroom. I am all Mac for the Lightroom printing but have a pc connected to the s80 for Onyx.
