Ipf6400

I was able to get my hands on an ipf6400 printer for free. The person that gave it away had tried selling it on Facebook marketplace and there were no takers. I saw it when it was posted for free thinking there was hope for something decent as they said they had not used it since the ink ran out. Based on ink dates I’m guessing it’s not been used since 2020.
When I got it home and plugged it in I saw that the ink tubes have all been eaten through by mice. The searching I’ve done don’t offer just the tubes but the whole ink supply unit and it takes two. The ink units are fine as they are not dried out inside and functioning properly so I just need to replumb it.
I don’t know what size of tubes to order but the length is just under 2 meters per set of 6. My issue though is the ink plates that connect to the print heads. If I don’t connect them there correctly the printer won’t print the proper ink per nozzle.
If someone knows this info or where to find it I’d greatly appreciate it. I found the ink supply systems on eBay for $280 each and that’s outside my budget.

you should be able to measure the OD and ID of the tubing with calipers and get tubing on amazon/aliexpress/ebay--  they don't necessarily need to be the same exact feel and flexibility as long as you can route them properly.  Usually they come individually in long spools, and sometimes in groupings of 4 or 8 connected together.  As long as the ID (inner dimension) is the same as the originals they should fit on the fittings just fine.  You should be able to get them long enough that you can cut them to length.

Thanks for the info. I think the od. is 3mm and id. of 2mm. Its rather hard to measure id as the calipers are wide on that part so I filed it smaller but also just used the other side of the caliper to check and it looks like 2.
As for mapping out the ink flow I also think this might have been made easy by good engineering on Canons part. It looks like head 1 Left side is running off of the top 6 colors and head 2 is using the bottom 6. I checked the internal channels on the heads with a Qtip and they seem to be in order though telling the difference between PC/C & M/PM is hard. I also was able to map out the flow of the joiner part that's connected to the head release lever 1.
Now to order some tubing and wait for it to come in so that I can start putting it all back together. Thankfully I took pictures as I dismantled it.
