I very much like the cover photo by Geoffrey James in the recent home page article of Luminous Landscape. However -- and I'm aware of the criticism I'm opening myself up to -- if I had been so fortunate as to recognize the potential photograph in that scene and capture that image, I would have used Photoshop to remove the automobile. Or perhaps, better said, I would have pushed my patience and waited for the car to move. What's the difference? Did you use Photoshop? Yes.
Or does the car have a significance that I've completely overlooked?
