Hi,
I have been happily limping along on an old Windows 7 machine using my perpetual Photoshop CS6 license.

I have done a few above and beyond repairs to this machine but a few days ago some small chip on the motherboard gave out and the power distribution is done for.

The hard drive is fine, so I have all my install files as well as my data files readily available. (everything is also backed up etc.)

I have a new to me Windows 10 machine that I am migrating too, and I have an Adobe CC membership for it. I have yet to open Photoshop CC or find out if it has the old Camera RAW processor.

Here is my question, with the preface that I do not recall the correct terminology so please help me get it right:

I have a custom made color definition file for my Canon 5DSR that I made years ago when the camera was the latest thing.

What do I need to look for on my old hard drive and where should I put it on my new system to migrate the color definition.

It has been so long I do not remember the details.

 Thank you!

Hi,
I found my DIY made 5DSR Standard.dcpr and MQ 5DS R Standard.dcp in my back ups.

I am brand new to the latest Adobe CC system and Windows 10.

Where do I put the camera profiles?

Hi,
I am posting the answer as a reference for anybody who may hope to learn the answer:

I placed a copy of *MY-CAMERA*.dcp in my

 C:\Users\*MY-USER-NAME*\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\

directory, and directed the Adobe CC version of Camera RAW to use that profile.

 Thank you.
