LR noise reduction

I am finding LR's new noise reduction tool to be excellent and I am using it in preference to Topaz now. But its default is to denoise the entire image even if you have cropped it. Much of my work lately is heavily cropped and uses 10-20% of the frame, so denoising the whole image is a time waster. Ideas?
