Here in Muscat, which is rare. Heavy showers, thunderstorms, and some photos from my balcony.

Thanks Francois, here are a few more. When the weather is this severe, the government tells people to stay home, as floods cause serious disruptions.

Superb also. Yes, in arid/desert regions, weather can be very dangerous, powerful and things happen quickly. People often get caught and pay a dear price.
