A favorite subject. I'm glad I got away from the office for a bit to shoot this yesterday. Over just a couple of hours the trees (and everything else) went from bare to very frosty to bare again.
We had single digits (F) and freezing fog which can quickly transform the landscape into something resembling Narnia. Then a slight breeze or the sun coming out makes it all disappear again.

Nice! Doesn't get that cold here usually although plenty of cottonwoods.

Thanks everyone! I can't decide which I like better so I'm glad there are some differing opinions!
It was cold but at least above 0F by a little so for these parts that's not so bad.

Me too but I probably get this more here than most places. This was maybe the third frosty morning this winter which is often about the season total. We'll see if I can catch any more this year...
