Francois, you raise a good point. What is reality? I really don't know either. To your and Mark's points, when we came to this beach it seemed vast, probably at least two miles to the stacks from where we were standing. The dominant feature was the beach with the little rocks you see and the waves breaking gently on the shore. The headlands, if that's what they are, were far away, at least further than I wanted walk in the sand. So, the image reflects that reality, at least as far as I can interpret it. I wasn't going for documentation; I try to avoid it in fact with varied success. I was going for pleasing or peaceful, which governed my color choices. Hope these thoughts are pertinent.
