Wow, I love these. I applaud your dedication. I really like that kind of triangular piece of shore - a very interesting subject!
I bet if you could catch a banger sunset or sunrise here it would take things up another notch. But it might be unpleasant.
Well done. Hopefully you have some spikes for traction. If not I recommend them!


Thank you Francois, Matt, Dave and Pieter, sometimes being really cold has its benefits.
As for spikes I have multiple, here I used my beefiest, some stainless Grivel Air Tech (see photo)

Well equipped, you could probably climb the Mont-Blanc with your crampons...

I would stiffer boots but probably are up to the task for non vertical ascents. Now if only having the right crampons was enough ...

Mont-Blanc isn't super technical (but not just a strenuous hike as some people wrongly assume) - at least with via the popular itinerary. Rescuers have seen Korean climbers with sneakers on the classic Matterhorn route which is vertical, technical and dangerous.
