Firmware Updates from
« on: November 30, 2023, 06:18:51 pm »

It would seem prudent to release firmware updates at this time to spark some goodwill and promote xmas sales.
I noticed Leica just released an update today very minor but smart on their part.

With todays very slow economy worldwide I can't for the life of me imagine why all Camera companies don't participate, even if its a very small update its better than total silence.

Greeting to all

Some firmware updates have bitten users in the ass (like from printer companies that limit ink options). If it ain't broke....

Some customers hate two things: Change and the way things are.

Yes indeed! I will not install any firmware update until other photographers whom I trust have verified that (1) It does not cause problems and (2) It provides meaningful improvement.
