Epson P6000 "No ink cartridges Found"-PANIC

I just turned on my P6000 Printer and got a message that the violet cartridge was missing- I reinstalled it and now I have a message that all cartridges are missing.  I restarted it several times and each time it shows all 9 cartridges OK for an instant and then x's across the board. I unplugged the printer and restarted and still no luck. Hoping for a miracle cure!!!

Did you install one of the new cartridges - T54X, T54V, T55K, without doing the firmware update?

If this is the case, you probably need to call Epson support to resolve this issue.

Or do like we are doing. No firmware update. Buy the new cheaper carts and pull the ink out and install in our 700ml refillables. More than one way to skin a cat.

Absolutely!!!

Think about this. Why do we have to skin a cat. It should work as it's meant to be. Look thru the all the Epson posts. Epson printers not functioning properly. The pro versions.
