Hi Mark, I like the composition and the 'theme', but the leaves on the background trees are unnaturally crunchy, at least that's how they appear from here. Over sharpened?

Bob_B, I agree.  The original developed image is much wider and you don't see the "crunchy" leaves.  I'll repost minus the crunch.

I reduced the level of crispiness in the leaves (fall leaves are a bit crispy).

Hi Mark, I am coming to Ohio to see family near Canton in November. Is this scene anywhere near the NP?
I love this bucolic image by the way.

Nice midwestern scene. I like the less crunchy version best. I grew up in SE Michigan and this could just as easily be there. Makes me nostalgic.

Here in Colorado I'm rushing to get some foliage photos before all the leaves blow down. A windy day this time of year can bring the leaf peeping season to an abrupt end!

David, go to Hale Farm and Village in Cuyahoga National Park.  This scene I captured from the road with a 24 mm tilt-shift lens.  I had to do a lot of cropping.  The village has a lot of interesting buildings.  On the property, there is also a great old Federal-style home that the Hale family began in around 1826.   The park has a lot of great foliage and hiking paths.  I flyfish the Cuyahoga River for smallmouth bass and steelhead.  Sometimes the Village can be fussy if you show up with a tripod -- they don't want people selling commercial images of their buildings.  As I said, the picture I posted can be had from the road.  I hope this helps.
