Sailboat Triptych No. 1
« on: October 01, 2023, 09:56:29 am »

I had this watercolor rendering in my mind's eye for quite some time. The three sailboats are from separate photographs (jpg). Each was processed to simulate a watercolor painting. The three were then composited to form one, unbroken triptych.

For me, this is the essence of Chesapeake Bay in the summer. It stirs many wonderful memories of my time on the Bay and sailing the "Mariposa", an Ericson 27.

C&C welcomed.

Very nice and interesting. The two sailboats on the left could have been from the same photo.
The watercolor treatment gives an enjoyable and soft/tranquil look and I like it a lot.
