Beautiful but the life is tough in these coastal regions. Wind must blow very hard. I like the layered landscape with those hills  far away.

Yes and no. I think it's valid as a starting point to see the views that they are getting, and that's the subject of the photo and not the farm by itself.

I would get rid of those sensor dirt spots though.

the image has no official title.....and the coastal farm was the first thing...that "popped into" my mind .

Ive been thinking about cleaning the sensor for the last year but havent felt that I wanted to risk doing it myself...

I like the scene but feel like the farm is hanging off the right edge of the frame. I'm guessing there was something less desirable to the right of the farm that needed to be outside the frame. Still a good image but I agree it feels a little unbalanced.

To Everyone,
It is heartening for me to hear how respectful and honest we are with each other's work.
I know some of my own pictures haven't been good and yet the critiques I've received have always been kind and valid.
I hope we continue this way and I hope everyone understands that in the end all we're really offering is our own opinions and the wish to be helpful.

I agree. But I think there are more pictures and compositions in the area, where the farm might feel more like part of the story and context.

I see it a different way. The farm, tucked in the lower corner, makes a statement about humanity's smallness in the face of nature. Without the farm, it would just be another pretty landscape.

im thinking I need to go back out there...its less then thirty miles from where I sit.

I was hunting spots with a friend..which can be a less then. perfect "workflow"
