Dry Mount Press Recommendation
« on: August 20, 2023, 04:15:42 pm »

I need to mount about 35 8x10 prints on 11x14 board, then I will need the press only occasionally. Can anyone recommend a dry mount press for under $250? Thanks.

It depends on the paper you'r printing on. I have used an ordinary clothing iron with great success on traditional photo papers of that size

I bought a Seal Dry Mount press used on eBay. New they're stupidly expensive but used they're cheap. Worked fine, worked better after I replaced some parts (you can order replacements from manufacturer). You might want to see if any framing shops in your area are going out of business. I've seen great deals on presses, flat files, and consumables there too.

Hmm, does anyone have experience with any of the consumer heat presses from companies like HTVRONT, TUSY, Vevor, etc.?
