For Whom the Bell Tolls
« on: August 06, 2023, 05:32:54 am »

I know, bit of a dramatic title isn't it? But hey ho, it seems to fit with the mood of the subject and are the exact words, that were running through my mind when I was shooting it - hence its dark, foreboding, moodyness :)

This bell still hangs, from an old rusting frame on top of a harbour wall, in a tiny little fishing village on the East coast of Scotland, where I think it was once used, to summon the local volunteer lifeboat crews, in cases of emergency out at sea. So I imagine anyone in the village that heard this bell ringing in the past, would have instantly felt their hearts sink and begin to fear the worst.

Thanks everyone and so glad you like it and seem to like it sooo much, so thanks once again  ;D

Sometimes a photograph can capture more, than just the picture itself.

Striking!

Well done Bob, that's a good'un  ;)

Have you been taking lessons from Slobodan I wonder???

Cheers all
