I get a "Data Base" error when I tried to post several times yesterday and today. I used COPY and PASTE trying to post an inquiry I made on several other sites. Any suggestions?

Lately, I've been hit with the same type of errors. So far, I've traced the issue to some unsupported characters but you may not have the exact same errors. I tried to contact customer service/administrators via PM but couldn't send the message (same error). Finally, I sent them a mail message but haven't heard anything.

As I said above, some characters make posting impossible (like an ellipsis). It's not the only problem, obviously.
Now, I don't have a list of these problematic characters.

Yes, I had to omit the Icelandic place name with its special character to be able to post.

It's a shame :-| . I love seeing those characters. They are essential.

When having problems with special characters, reporting to moderators doesn't work as the post contains those characters.

I haven't had any trouble, but then I keep my Win11 up to date. Possible issue? Also, FWIW, those look like formatting codes to me so maybe browser issues. I am using up to date Firefox, but cannot speak to other browsers.

FWIW, I'm on a Mac and tried with Safari, Firefox and Chrome.
