Thank you, now that I have the majority of my older image files on my new machine. I feel a bit more relaxed about spending any time doing what id rather be doing... Like making a triptych

the new external ssd drive demands more power....it isn't recognized at this point...unless it has a direct connection,,,,,,,not through the cheap HUB I bought
