Putting up for sale my dear Mamiya ZD camera..

Mamiya ZD Camera was purchased brand new in 2006 from Japan.
I am the original owner. Camera had an extremely gentle use and care.
It was primarily used in the studio, and only in a couple of trips as I recall, one to Colorado Rocky Mountains national park and another trip to Vermont.
I created numerous artworks using this camera, including Gallery Large prints (60" wide) (e.g. this large levitating nude):

Everything is operational and is in great condition. If I still had a need for this equipment, I would buy it and be happy, everything works just as when I bought it originally.

Firewire board was  replaced under warranty soon after purchase.
80mm AF 2.8 lens was purchased brand new in 2006 from BHphoto.

Wow Michael, you've just sent me back in time with this.  :)

I took some really nice images with the ZD that was my first medium format digital camera. The files are really sweet in the target range. I remember taking it for servicing at the old Mamiya service center in Ueno. Nice memories of another age.

Good luck with the sale!

Cheers,
Bernard

Thanks Bernard! yes.. this is a sentimental camera for me too .. my first medium format digital, it was a breakthrough at the time.
It's incredible how great the files are from the lens and sensor combo - the large pixels (22 nm as I recall) they lend themselves exceptionally well to a great degree of enlargement and sharpening. My 60" wide prints from ZD and from film (6x7 Delta 100) look equivalent.

I haven't been using it for years now, and keeping it as a backup in the bag feels wasteful. I want this camera to keep on living!:)
Will probably list on eBay this weekend.

I am open to offers if there is any interest here.
