The article credits George Eastman with the invention of film.  I think it only right that Hannibal Goodwin receive the credit for this major invention, for which he had applied for a patent in 1887.   After all, in 1914 the Ansco company, which had purchased Goodwin's patent, was awarded a judgement against the Eastman Company, with damages amounting to $5 million.  Goodwin himself did not live to see this, as he died in 1900.  He is truly the forgotten man of photography.
