Fuji GFX 100S Firmware 2.01 Minor Bug
« on: June 11, 2023, 10:35:29 am »

Fuji has had a bit of trouble with firmware bugs.  Version 2.00 had a bug affecting how exposure compensation could be invoked.  Version 2.01 came out which fixed that bug, but there is a bug in the selection of 24 hour (military) time or AM/PM time:

Time is locked to 24 hour initially and can't be changed to AM/PM unless you first set date format to  YYMMDD.  You can then select whatever you want, 24 hour or AM/PM.  When you change the date format back to your preferred version (MMDDYY for me) your 24 hour or AM/PM setting will be preserved. If you want to change to or from 24 hour time in the future, have to temporarily set date format to YYMMDD.

Just a heads up for anyone that runs into this.

Appreciate the heads up! It's odd that the 24 hour/AM/PM setting is tied to the date format like that. Definitely an unusual bug. Hopefully, Fuji will resolve it in the next firmware update. In the meantime, thanks for sharing the workaround. This will surely save some time (and frustration) for anyone who runs into this issue. Cheers!
