Matte textured paper recommendations

I have a rather large print job coming up, which will be on an ongoing basis and would like to get some recommendations on paper.

I primarily print on glossy stock (Epson P9000), and I'm quite familiar with many gloss/semi-gloss options, but when it comes to matte paper I've been out of the loop for a very long time.

I am looking for a paper that:

1) Is archival
2) Has a texture similar to watercolor paper. I remember quite a long time ago using Epson's velvet fine art which had a nice medium texture similar to watercolor.
3) Has as wide of a color gamut as possible and a good dmax for a matte paper.
4) Has as low of a price point as possible. It doesn't have to be super heavy/thick, in fact I prefer something easier to work with.
5) Is available in 17" and 24" rolls, because these are the sizes I'll be printing primarily.

Canson Etching Rag is our top selling Matte paper.
For water color reproductions my favorite is Canson PMR PrintMaKing Rag.

Those look like great papers, but I need something at a lower price point, roughly $1.25/sq ft or lower in order to be within the budget.

How about Epson Legacy Etching (similar to the Canson Etching Rag, I would guess) - it's about $200.00 for a 24 inch x 50 ft. roll (S450089). But Epson is doing a Buy 3, Get 1 free special through June which brings the price down to about $135.00 per roll.

Red River has a very large selection of papers and their prices are as low as you will find for quality paper. They have a sample pack that you could try.

Canson Etching Rag is our top selling Matte paper.
For water color reproductions my favorite is Canson PMR PrintMaKing Rag.

PrintMaKing Rag was discontinued since the Arches BFK Rives was back. For budget choice, Edition Etching Rag is more suitable.

For lower price, you can also check SiHL or Felix Schoeller. They are the original manufacturer of many private brand papers.

I think red river etching 315 is your best option. It's quite affordable, for the quality of it. It has good dmax (L* 18 on my ipf8400) and pretty decent gamut for a matte paper. Only downside is that the texture isn't as "nice" as other options from Canson, like the new Canson arches line. My clients love it for reproductions. They have both 24" and 17" rolls.
