Qimage One stopped printing my trim borders.
« on: March 16, 2023, 02:28:15 pm »

I printed one sample to see how my 2" trim border would print and it came out perfect.
No changes that I know of and you can see how it is printing now by the screen shot.
Tried everything that I could think of to reset but it is printing odd lines at the corners.
30x40 image on 36"wide x 44"long paper. The 30x40 image includes a 2" white border.

You have Guide Borders turned on which is why those lines are drawn, to aid with trimming. That seems to be what you want, from your description, so I'm not sure I understand the problem. Are you saying when you print it again you see something different?

I see that the small macOS preview window may not be rendering those very thin lines accurately. But that should only be used as a general guide for layout. You should use the Qimage One Soft Proof/Preview function to see an accurate preview of the print.

The two pictures show the problem. The first picture of the sample print I did came out correctly. Printing a border around the entire print. The second picture of the screenshot shows how it is printing now, like it is corrupted. Look at the little fly out preview and you can see how it is printing. I for some reason cannot get it to reset properly and print the correct border.

I'm going to guess that in the first test you had guide borders, and in the second one crop marks. (This is form a quick test of v2021.100 on Win7, that I use for printing calibration charts to a SL D800, so not software that I use very often).

Fixed it. Going to soft proof preview before printing reset the border issue. Now printing correctly.
