Colorado Spires
« on: February 23, 2023, 06:45:10 pm »

Here are a couple of images I like but I am not always the best judge of my work. They might be a little too "quiet". So let me know what you think of these. The first one I've been calling "Praying Hand". Is that reference clear or too obscure? Thanks!

None of us are. That's why we're here! I think "Praying Hands" rather than singular. I know this area is not supposed to be for criticism, but I will say that you could correct the magenta cast in the sky of the first and brighten the subject. Of course this is a judgement call. I am also not wild about the heavy vignetting in the second. Please forgive if I have strayed too far. I like them, otherwise.

Thank you for your comments, David. I did mean Hands. I mistyped. I printed the first one this afternoon and thought the print looked a little heavy, so your comment is well worth considering and very timely. Thanks!

I like them both, but I have to agree with David's pertinent remarks.
Other than that, two very nice shots!

I like them both, but Praying Hands is quite special.
