Client selects as a Previews.lrdata file

Hi y'all, this is the first time in almost 20 years I received an email with a Previews.lrdata file of the client's picks.
How can I read them? This has always been a weak spot I feel with LR, transposing clients selects back in LR.

You can't - the preview filenames don't match directly to the real files.

You need the catalogue, which would allow you to use that catalogue itself to get their picks or do a File > Import from Another Catalog which (with a trick or two) would import into your own catalogue.
