If you are already working with windows Vista, don't bother to purchase the HP Photosmart Pro B9180: it's not compatible yet.
This is a big disappointment from a company communicating that all its printers 3-year old or younger work with Vista, that Vista has been available since the end of November and most hardware companies have been offering at least beta drivers for months. No such luck with HP, it's not even possible to try a beta driver. As a comparison my old Canon S9000 worked from the start with no additional software need.
So I had to install it on an old computer with XP.
Having purchased HP Premium Plus Photo Satin paper I was also disappointed that an ICC profile was neither included with the XP driver nor downloadable from the HP site. So I profiled it myself with X-Rite ColorPulse.
On the other hand, I must say that the first prints with HP Advanced Glossy & HP Premium + satin look quite fantastic.
Cheers,
