Wonderland
« on: January 09, 2023, 12:57:22 pm »

We had out first significant freezing fog event of the season here over the weekend and the transformation of the landscape has been magical. Yesterday morning was especially nice and I went out for a couple of hours in the subzero (F) temps. Well worth it!

Thanks all! Sounds like #3 is the winner. I can't disagree. Shooting these conditions can be overwhelming so I'm glad to get something!

I'll take your negative Fahrenheit AND snow vs my gray/black around freezing in SW Michigan (typing this from the comfort of my heated home)

Yeah having grown up in SE Michigan, I feel your pain! The winters were a big reason I wanted to go elsewhere once I could!

Some winters are fine, and we had a couple of big snowfalls but then it all melts away. I'll probably try to hit the UP and hope for more snow/ice there.

Really beautiful, Matt. Especially 1 and 3. We had a freezing fog episode like that in Oregon last year. And your title aptly describes the experience: a wonderland.
