I am at a soft 18 so far, so I greatly appreciate unbiased, objective reactions. Seeing my "children" as they are is still a great challenge/weakness.Rajan, thank you. One of the criteria I have set, prior to the pairing of images, is that each must be able to stand alone, or I can't use it. It is still a grey area in my mind what exactly that means. And I know one of the two will always be "more" of "that" than the other, but as it stands now, each must evoke a clear something (to me) using the language of metaphor, analogy, or symbology. The project is about the gap, the difference, created between the two. Also, physically, I am using size, color, placement within the frame, and the physical space between the images to manipulate that contrast, as if I were laying images out on pages in a book.Probably more than you wanted to know, but explaining it COLD helps me to decide and define it. Thanks in advance for your indulgence.
