From around this time last year.
The temp when I took this shot was around -10 C and the freezing fog was very, very thick and swirling through the trees, alongside the edge of this small urban woodland area. But none of the shots I was taking, looked like they would be worthy of processing, as the light levels were just too low and flat. Then I happened to turn around, just as the sun started to poke through some of the upper murk behind me and so, I grabbed this shot before it quickly disappeared again.
Also the shot didn't need any processing, other than the usual dust spotting - in fact I do not know if the file would stand any processing, without lots of posterizing starting to show up in the flat, low light areas of the image.
So perhaps this is just another one of those "Luck favours the prepared" types of shot
