Midwestern woods
« on: December 13, 2022, 05:49:04 pm »

I was visiting my mom last week in SE Michigan. It was snowless, gray, and brown which are not my preferred landscape shooting conditions. It reminded me why I wanted to leave the area in the first place. We did have a moment of light one day and I always like to play with some pond reflections so not a total loss with my landscape efforts. It was a nice visit but I'm also glad to be back in Colorado!

The second one has a crazy good look to it.

Thanks guys! That was my favorite too. I was trying to take the illusion a step further and get some goldfish swimming by (descendants of the ones I introduced 35 years ago) but they wouldn't cooperate. Maybe next visit...

I like both. #1 works as a sort of introduction to what is being reflected in #2.

Beautiful duo! For a second, #2 looks like a composite ;-)
The second photo is also my favorite.
