is GP version for z3100 worth it?

I ca'nt judge if it is worth the extra £500 notes for the GP option for the z3100.  Will the Pulse Colorelite software I use with my trusty Pulse produce noticably less refined profiles than the GP option which kicks out over a 1000.  It would of course be nice to automate everything but not worth £500 if automation is the only benefit.

You could sell the Pulse for 250 if the money is tight, but I would hang on to it for times when you need a handheld device.
