'Tis the blooming season for my Red Spider Lilies, Lycoris radiata, a member of the amaryllis family. The ephemeral flowers last only a few days and are gone before one even sees their splendor. Given that, I sacrificed one of only two blooms to photograph, preserve and share with all of you. Enjoy.
