Wow, we're going full sci-fi with this shot. On top of that, the sky is spectacular with those colors.
A bit different than your Iceland imagery but just as magic!

Bob, my guess is they are a family of lenticular clouds that somehow decided to come together this evening.

Francois - spectacular cloud formations are quite common on the island, but even by the standards one is accustomed to here, this was a special occurrence.
