Really tight lens
« on: August 19, 2022, 09:17:39 am »

I just got the new Sony 24-70 GM2 and it is very tight on my a7r3, and just tight(ish) on my r2. Is this harmfull or will it loosen up in over time? Never had this happen before even on adapted lenses. Thanks.

i would go back to the shop and try another one.. i only had it once with an adapter ( that i returned)
i guess you know by now how it tight should feel.

PS i first would find out if it is a perfect copy- if it is- then i would bring it to sony to readjust the bajonet.
Perfect copies are special

Don't know if it's perfect, but it's damn good. A definite keeper, image wise, for me. Someone suggested it's probably the weatherproofing seal and it should improve over time.
